Terms & arrangement

Complete before launch. The text below reflects the business model but is not a substitute for legal advice. Add company details and have the text reviewed by a lawyer before publishing.

1. Scope

Aretis arranges transport services (flight, rail, coach) between you and the relevant provider. Aretis does not itself provide the transport service and does not become a party to the contract of carriage.

2. How the contract is formed

The contract of carriage is formed exclusively between you and the operating carrier or the booking provider that processes it. Booking and payment take place on their platform. Aretis neither receives nor stores payment data.

3. Prices and commission

Displayed prices include Aretis’s commission, which is shown as a separate line before checkout. Prices and availability come from the providers and can change up to the point of booking. The price shown by the booking provider at the moment of checkout is the price that applies.

For rail and coach travel the relevant provider sets the price the customer pays. Aretis receives a commission from the provider on those bookings; you pay no markup compared with booking directly.

4. Family & Friends

Holders of a Family & Friends account pay no commission on flights. The account is granted personally, is non-transferable, and can be revoked at any time. On rail and coach travel a reduction isn’t possible, since the provider sets that price.

5. Manual price review

If a provider’s price sits well above what is typical for the route, it is not released for automatic booking but reviewed by hand. On that basis you may be offered a personal quote. There is no entitlement to such a quote or to any particular price.

6. Service disruptions

Claims for delay, cancellation, rebooking or refund exist solely against the operating carrier or the booking provider. Please contact them directly in those cases. Aretis will reasonably help put you in touch, but is not liable for the service itself.

7. Liability

Aretis is liable for intent and gross negligence, and for breach of material obligations arising from the arrangement relationship, in accordance with statutory provisions. Liability for the accuracy and availability of data supplied by providers is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
